Our business is about helping people and quickly responding to their needs, no matter what the concern may be.
Mr. Jacques began his career 25 years ago, after earning a B.S. in Engineering (Design). At a young age, he learned his craft first-hand in his grandfather’s shop. The carpentry man had a legendary reputation for his skilled craftsmanhip and passion, and felt it his obligation to train the next generation.
After a decade of supervising field crews, and as Project Manager & Regional Manager with large firms, Stephen founded Jacques Homes, Inc. and began building a quality custom home business. Stephen’s architectural, historic, engineering and estate project experience is extensive, with over 200 projects to his name. His education is comprehensive and includes degrees and coursework completed at Georgetown University, The University of Virginia, & Old Dominion.
Where can we see a finished product? Wind River, Foxchase, Glenmore Contry Club, Bentivar, West Leigh, Harmony, and Ivy, to name a few. Mr. Jacques spent many years hiring architects and engineers in his previous endeavors, discerning exceptional talent along the way. We are pleased that most of these gifted professionals remain part of the Jacques Homes team.
